From October 4 to 9, 2026, the 29th European Microwave Week (EuMW 2026) will be held at the ExCeL London International Exhibition Centre in the United Kingdom. As the world’s most influential annual event in the fields of RF, microwave, wireless, and radar technologies, this year’s exhibition will bring together hundreds of exhibiting companies and thousands of industry professionals from around the globe. In just 13 months, a Jiangyin-based company secured a “ticket” to success.

MLCC, or multilayer ceramic chip capacitor, is often referred to as the “staple of the electronics industry.” “Take this MLCC used in AI servers, for example—its market price can range from 0.5 to 3 yuan,” said Huang Yiqin, the company’s technical director, as he gently picked up a sand-grain-sized multilayer ceramic chip capacitor from the workstation in the automated production line of Yuanci Juguang (Jiangsu) Electronics Co., Ltd., located in the Lingang Economic Development Zone. Anchored by this tiny “grain of rice,” the startup—established just over a year ago—is now aiming to capture a massive market worth more than 120 billion yuan, where the domestic substitution rate stands at only around 10%.
